#303 - The Right Shoes for Your Next Step

Your next season may begin from the ground up.

In episode #303, Coach Tadris shares how preparing to run again after surgery led to an important lesson about choosing the right walking or running shoes. He offers three practical tips on proper fit, matching your shoes to their purpose, and knowing when it may be time to replace them.

This episode also celebrates new beginnings within the Run to the Best You community—including Danielle Onyango beginning her journey toward the Atlantic City 5K, Mark Harmon crushing his one-mile test, and several new participants accepting an invitation to show up. You don’t need the most expensive equipment or the perfect pace—you simply need to prepare for your next step.

👏 SHOUT-OUTS OF THE WEEK

This week, we’re celebrating several people who showed up and brought great energy to the Run to the Best You community!

In the top photo, Danielle Onyango is on the right, standing next to Kim in pink. Danielle officially began her journey toward completing the Atlantic City 5K in October!

In the bottom-left photo, Johnny B. is front and center, with his mom, Deb Bieniakowski, standing to his left. Deb and Johnny joined us for Tuesday’s community walk and brought so much positive energy to the group.

The bottom-right photo features Mark Holman and me after Mark came out Tuesday and crushed his one-mile test. Mark established his starting point and showed that he is ready to begin training for Atlantic City.

Congratulations to Danielle, Deb, Johnny B., and Mark for showing up and taking the next step in their journeys! - Coach Tadris
