Shout Out Of The Week

Lea Posa - On March 14th, 2026, Lea was at the Donny Fund 5k in Atlantic City, NJ, when I asked her to take our group picture. I invited Lea to join the crew for our warm-up. This warm-up was for the 10-miler group; however, Lea and I were doing the 5k, a half hour after the 10-miler began. Lea fell back during a portion of the warm-up, and I told her I would find her before the 5k began. I could not find her through the sea of people, I told her before the warm-up that she had an honorary coach for the day. As I do with my members on the course, I run my race as best that I can then turn around and find my people. On this day it was Lea! I escort her to the finish line and I find out that this was her first ever 5k! I asked her what her takeaway was. “That I could do it” she proclaims. Heck yes, Lea you did the thing! Shout out to Lea for getting to the event over an hour in advance, being willing to integrate herself with the energy from our crew, and crushing your first 5k. The conditions were brutal, winds over 40 mph with sand everywhere and you got through it. Can’t wait to see what’s next for you. This experience goes hand in hand with this week's episode, Lea was alone at this event but instantly became part of our community. That community helped her across that finish line strong. Run To The Best You Lea - Coach Tadris.
